Subject: The Mistral arrive in LA
Thanks to Pat for posting the show (great recording). For an opening night, there were definitely some technical snafus to work out, however the band improvised and put on a great show. With the 40+ mph mistral winds the night before it was unclear whether the band was going to make it into S. Cal. Fortunately, they planned ahead and made it a day early for the Jimmy Kimmel show. War Begun (always a boon to hear) and the spacey jam in Phone Went West were highlights. Evelyn was really cool gem to hear as well. Did anyone record the next night at the Bill Graham in SFO? The band definitely worked out the kinks for the Bay Area show and threw down an energetic performance from start to finish,especially the Cobra.

Subject: Gotta Fight those Technical Demons
Thanks for the tape. Recording sounds great even with all 'technical demons' at the show. It was my Dad's first MMJ show and now we can remember it forever. Loved how the boys jammed even longer when Jim and Carl's equipment going out every once and awhile. It made this show even more unique and special.

Notes

Sorry sports fan this recording is missing the 1st song. Long Story short i tried out a new piece of Gear and had disastrous results. Luckily was able to rectify it during the 1st song however it was not listenable so i left it out the rest of the show sounds good so enjoy.
